About
Funded by the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada and the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), this project explored the employment outcomes for young people who experienced out-of-home care within Ontario’s child welfare system and have since transitioned into the community. The project had a low barrier approach, and we used social media to recruit participants (ages 18-35), who completed an anonymous online survey. Our findings culminated in a report and are informing future YWL work.
