I am pursuing my Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto and hold a BSc. in Psychology. My main interest is addressing how anti-Black racism affects individuals within different sectors, which is why I joined MDBF. My research in mental health and psychology within Black communities alongside Africentric social work has opened my eyes to systemic issues within healthcare and the potential for real change. Since joining MDBF, the work has only further peaked my interest in advocacy through research and knowledge dissemination.
